Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Radiology

Location: Paramus, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform multiple duties within the Radiology department.
• Coverage required across multiple sites within the region.
• Weekend rotation shift.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiology experience, including experience within the last year.
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ARRT certification.

Required Documentation & Compliance

• I-9 verification and E-Verify compliance.
• Education verification (diploma or equivalent).
• 7-year background check including national and state-level screenings.
• Drug testing: Negative 9-panel within 30 days of start.
• Physical exam or statement of health within 12 months, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NP.
• Fit mask test (N95 or equivalent) within 1 year of start.
• Immunizations and health screenings required within 72 hours of contract signing:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (preferred)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (proof of 2 MMR vaccinations or positive titer)
  • Hepatitis B surface antibody titer or declination
  • Varicella (proof of 2 vaccinations or positive titer)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination (mandatory, no exemptions)
  • COVID-19 vaccination series plus booster (mandatory, no exemptions)
• Pass/fail competency testing onsite including medication and telemetry exams.
• Annual competency exams and core competency testing with minimum 80% passing score.
• References: Two required (one supervisory within last 12 months, one professional within last 3 years).
• Employment verification covering last 7 years.

• Orientation safety manual and facility-specific learning modules must be completed prior to start.
• State license verification must be current within 30 days of start; no temporary or emergency licenses accepted without approval.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
