Job Opportunity: CVOR Tech

Location: Lubbock, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (5x8 hours), 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Specialty: Surgical Services (Cardio Thoracic & Vascular experience required)
Patient Ratio: 1:3
On-Call: Yes (nights, weekends, holidays)
Floating: No
Weekends: Not required

Facility Overview

• Short Term Acute Care facility
• 379 staffed beds
• Level II Trauma Center
• Dress Code:

  • Licensed nursing personnel wear solid navy blue uniforms or scrubs (no print tops except in specific units)
  • Unlicensed personnel wear solid hunter green uniforms or scrubs (no print tops except in specific units)
• Free parking available in unrestricted employee/visitor lots

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CVOR Technologist
• CVOR Technologist experience within the last year

Additional Requirements

• Photo for badge (passport style with neutral background) required
• Completion of annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp)
• Compliance with facility-specific floating policy acknowledgment (may be required to float to nearby facilities)
• State-specific background and licensing attestations as applicable (e.g., Washington multi-state license attestations)

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• On-call duties include nights, weekends, and holidays, but weekends are not regularly scheduled.
• No 48-hour shifts approved.
• Candidates must comply with all background, health, and competency requirements prior to start.
