Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 6 weeks (42 days)
Work Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: Average 46 students
Student Population: Kindergarten through 12th grade (K-12)
Job Description
- Provide speech-language pathology services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
- Supervision provided for candidates holding a Clinical Fellowship (CF) status.
- Must hold a valid Alaska Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or be open to CF candidates under supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Alaska
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must complete district-specific agreements and forms annually (e.g., Internet Use Agreement, Request for District Account).
- Drug testing is not required for SLPs unless specifically requested by the client.
- Physical exams, TB tests, and immunizations are only required if requested by the client.
- Candidates must complete the Alaska "Interested Persons Report" criminal background check process prior to start.

- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
- Supervision is provided for Clinical Fellows, making this role suitable for new graduates completing their fellowship year.
