Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech

Location: Worcester, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday)
• Weekend Requirement: Every 4th weekend
• Unit Details:

  • Work with trauma patients
  • Portable exams
  • Pediatrics
  • Operating room C-arms and portables
• Charting System: Epic

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technician license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technician experience within the last year
• Previous experience with a Level I or Level II facility
• Experience working with trauma patients
• Experience working with pediatrics
• Experience using operating room C-arms and portables
• X-Ray Technician experience

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Valid government-issued ID
• Background check (7-year criminal history, education verification, and other standard checks)
• Physical exam within 12 months prior to start, including physician statement of fitness to work without restrictions
• Drug testing within 30 days of start
• Immunizations and/or declinations as applicable, including but not limited to:

  • COVID-19 (most recent vaccine or declination)
  • Flu vaccine or declination (seasonal requirement)
  • TB testing and questionnaire
  • MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, TDAP (vaccination or declination, with some declinations not accepted for pediatrics)
• Competency exams and pass/fail testing as required (e.g., medication exam, telemetry exam if applicable)

Additional Notes

• Must be able to pass required competency exams on the first day of orientation to avoid cancellation
• References: 2 references within the last 3 years required
• Employment application must cover 7 years of employment history with explanations for gaps over 30 days
