Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Cath Lab) - Travel/Contract

Location: Dallas, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • On Call required

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience with at least 1 year within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Background and Compliance Requirements

  • 7-year background check including county criminal search for all locations lived/worked in last 7 years
  • Sex offender search
  • State police investigation for behavioral health (if applicable)
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start

Health and Immunization Requirements

  • Physical exam within 12 months of start
  • Negative TB test (TSpot or QGold) within 12 months; annual updates required
  • Tdap vaccination required
  • Hepatitis B: Proof of vaccine series and positive titer OR signed facility-specific declination form
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella): Positive titers or documentation of 2 vaccines; boosters required if titers low/equivocal
  • Varicella: Positive titers or documentation of 2 vaccines; boosters required if titers low/equivocal
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
  • Drug testing: 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (no rapid screens)

Documentation and Other Requirements

  • Valid government-issued photo ID (driver’s license, state ID, or passport) matching candidate documentation
  • I9 or attestation required
  • E-Verify or attestation required
  • Photo for badge (passport style, head and shoulders, clear background)
  • Completion of facility-specific forms including job description acknowledgment and security forms
  • Two professional references within 3 years of hire

  • Candidates must complete competency exams within 30 days of start
  • Some certifications and requirements may vary by unit; candidates should confirm specifics with the job description or recruiter
  • Onsite fit mask test during orientation, updated annually
