Location: Ticonderoga, New York
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 20 weeks

Job Description

• Multimodality Tech position covering CT, Radiology, and Mammography.
• Must have Mammography experience and New York certification.
• Flexible schedule required, including a minimum of every other weekend or adjusted shifts to meet unit and patient care needs.
• Equipment includes Philips Ingenuity 64 CT unit, GE Rad rooms with Fuji digital plates, and Philips digital portable x-ray unit.
• Prior travel experience is required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New York.
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
• One completed travel assignment.
• ARRT certification in CT.
• ARRT certification.
• Mammography experience.
• Radiology Technologist experience.
• Mammography Technologist experience.
• Experience with Epic.

Certifications & Compliance

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (AHA approved) as required.
• National tech certification verification within 30 days of assignment start.
• Background check within 30 days of start covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years.
• Education verification as applicable.
• Annual competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency as required.
• COVID vaccination or declination required.
• Flu vaccination or exemption required during flu season.
• TB testing and annual questionnaire as applicable.
• Hepatitis B series and titer or signed declination.
• Other immunizations: MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella, Tdap within 10 years.
• N95 fit test required prior to assignment and annually.

Additional Requirements

• Complete all work history details including bed count, EMR, and facility type.
• Provide professional references from assignments within the last 3 years.
• Skills checklist within 12 months.
• Physical exam within 12 months of start.
• Photo for badge with specific requirements (plain background, no logos or hats).
• Must review dress code and telephone usage policies prior to start.
• Complete required orientation and training modules prior to start.
• Reliable transportation with all-season or snow tires recommended November through April.

Schedule

• Monday through Sunday coverage.
• No block scheduling permitted.
• Bi-weekly orientations available.

Important Notes

• New York licensing process takes approximately 6-8 weeks; start dates will consider this timeline.
• Public transportation is not accessible in the area.
• Vehicle insurance required if using personal or rental vehicle.

This position is ideal for experienced CT Technologists with multimodality skills, who have prior travel experience and are flexible with scheduling.
