Job Opportunity: X-Ray Technologist

Location: Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Schedule:

• 4 shifts per week
• 10-hour shifts
• Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Credentials & Compliance for Onboarding

Certifications & Licenses

• BLS Certification: Required before onboarding (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted)
• Professional License Verification: Primary source verification required within 30 days of start; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted

Personal Health Requirements

• N95 Fit Test: Required within 365 days of start and updated annually; must be completed offsite using MGB form
• MMR Vaccination or Immunity Proof: Two doses each of measles, mumps, and rubella vaccines or two MMR vaccines, or blood test proof of immunity
• Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 – April 30); no exemptions allowed
• TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative blood test within 3 months of start; updated if break >6 months
• Health Statement: Physician-signed statement within 365 days of start; updated if break >6 months
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation: Required if fit test is required
• Hepatitis B Vaccine: Strongly preferred but optional
• Tdap Vaccine: Preferred within last 10 years (optional)

Background & Professional Checks

• Criminal Background Check: Within 45 days prior to start; updated if break >6 months
• Massachusetts CORI Check: Within 30 days prior to start; updated if break >6 months
• Social Security Number Trace: Required with criminal check, covering last 7 years
• National Sex Offender Registry Check: Within 30 days prior to start; updated annually
• Exclusion Checks: OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid exclusion lists within 30 days prior to start and annually
• Education Verification: Verified through background check company for highest level of education
• References: Two recent references required, including at least one supervisor or above in the skillset

• Skills Checklist: Required for submission
• Candidate Submission Coversheet: Required for submission

Additional Notes

• Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray after the positive test (optional but recommended)
• No religious or medical exemptions allowed for fit testing or influenza vaccine
• All documentation must be current and updated as specified
