Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical/Telemetry

Location: Elmira, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Job Description

• Provide nursing care on Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units.
• Must have ACLS, BLS, NIH certification and ability to read basic rhythm strips prior to starting.
• Work collaboratively with primary and team nursing staff.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York.
• Minimum of 3 years of Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience.
• Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience within the last year.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Completion of 8 hours of Stroke Training.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Experience working with stroke patients.

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
• Must be able to read basic cardiac rhythm strips before starting.
• Work involves collaboration with primary and team nursing staff.
