Job Opportunity: Certified Surgical Technician

Location: Elmira, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Job Description

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technician required.
• Responsibilities include assisting in C-sections, stocking rooms and supplies, cleaning the unit as needed.
• Must be willing to sit with patients in the hospital when not needed on the unit.
• Occasional night shifts may be required.
• Facility handles 80-120 deliveries per month and is the only high-risk facility in the region.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, valid throughout the assignment.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license or state ID (not expired).

Additional Information

• COVID-19 vaccination proof or agency declination is optional but recommended.
• Extended travelers beyond one year must complete a health reassessment form.
• Candidates with Canadian licenses must provide proof of valid TN visa status or eligibility documentation.
