Nursing Contract Opportunity
Location: State College, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional nursing care based on current nursing knowledge using the nursing process.
- Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation of nursing measures, and evaluation of care effectiveness.
- Serve as a liaison between patients and staff, supporting effective and harmonious communication.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, emotional tolerance, and sound judgment when interacting with patients, families, and co-workers.
- Preference given to candidates with EPIC patient charting experience.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of previous RN experience required.
Licenses and Certifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification meeting American Heart Association standards, with renewal every two years.
Skills and Abilities
- Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to function effectively as a team member and communicate professionally at all times.
