Overview

• Location: Prescott Valley, Arizona
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification
• RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)
• OB certification (RDMS-OB/GYN verification)

Preferred Qualifications

• RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist)
• Vascular experience

Role Details

• Department: Ultrasonography, with 3 scanners/rooms
• Exams Performed: All general ultrasound exams, Pare Thora BX, and vascular exams
• Volume: 8-16 scans/studies per day
• Float/Coverage: Possible, but not standard
• Equipment: Phillips EPIQ
• Systems: Uses an EMR and PACS
• Supervision: Radiology supervisor (not a lead tech)
• Radiologist: In-house
• Registered Radiology Assistants: Not used
• IV Starts: Not required
• Weekends: Sometimes
• Holidays: Rotating
• Call/Standby: Yes
• Orientation: Thursday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with call
• Scrubs: Not yet provided
