Job Details

• Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-Call Requirements:

  • Weeknights (Mon-Thurs): 5:00 PM to 6:30 AM, 1-2 nights per week
  • Weekends: On-call all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday every 3-4th weekend
  • Holidays: On-call as needed
• Call Response Time: 30 minutes
• Number of Cath Lab Suites: 2
• Average Cases per Day: 6
• Types of Procedures: Coronary procedures, Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures, Vascular procedures (No Electrophysiology)
• Cardiologist and IR Call Coverage: 10 days per month each; IR coverage provided by 1 IR provider

Responsibilities

• Sedate, monitor, and circulate cases (scrubbing not required)
• Provide occasional 1:1 sitter assistance
• Clock in and out at the facility
• Complete department-specific orientation including CBTs and orientation binder within the first week

Required Skills and Experience

• Sedation experience and knowledge of sedation reversal
• Experience with cardiac drips and medications
• Familiarity with Cerner and Merge EMR systems

Certifications

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)

Additional Information

• Scrubs provided by the hospital (light blue)
• Prior work with this facility requires a minimum 6-month gap before reapplying
