Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery

Location: Greenville, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days
Hours: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift (36 hours per week)

Job Description

• Work in a rural community hospital's Labor & Delivery unit.
• Comfortable managing all areas of the birthing center including labor, mother/baby, newborn nursery, and postpartum.
• Level 1 maternity unit with approximately 30 deliveries per month.
• Unit includes 4 labor and delivery rooms and 6 postpartum rooms.
• Staff are cross-trained across all maternity care areas.
• Charting systems used: Centricity and CPSI.
• Orientation period of 24 hours provided.
• Schedule includes working every other weekend.
• Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Obstetrics.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and Advanced Fetal Monitoring.
• Must be comfortable with all aspects of labor and delivery nursing.

Additional Information

• The facility is located approximately 2 hours from both Indianapolis and Columbus.
