Location

Shift

• Days, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Colorado respiratory therapist license
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Driver’s license must be submitted

Experience / Skills

• Must be able to provide respiratory care across inpatient hospital areas
• Experience with medication delivery, emergency response, intubation assistance, ventilator management, arterial blood gases, pulmonary hygiene, hyperinflation therapy, patient transport of critically ill patients with an artificial airway, and home oxygen assessment/coordination

Schedule / Work Expectations

• May include every other weekend or more if willing
• Holidays as needed
• Clinicians should be in state for the week of orientation
• Should never be the only RT in house

Clinical Setting

• Adults only
• Inpatient

Additional Details

• Must assist with intubation, not perform it independently
• No call or standby call
• Floating: none
• Dress code: black pants with a wine top
• Ventilator equipment includes 980 ventilator and V60
• Hospitalist or intensivist is always in house
