Job Description

• Perform patient assessments and analyze information.
• Provide quality nursing care efficiently and safely.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care.
• Collaborate and coordinate nursing care and services.
• Identify and meet expected outcomes for patients and department.
• Utilize equipment such as Liberty Peritoneal Dialysis Cycler, Meditech, Omnicell, Philips monitor, Alaris IV pumps, NICOM (Non-Invasive Cardiac Output Monitor).
• Float to other units/departments as needed, including MedSurg (must be competent and willing).
• Work 12-hour shifts, both day and night, including weekends.
• Nurse to patient ratio: 2:1
• Unit bed size: 7
• Dress code: Professional nurse dress

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license for Indiana or compact RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
• Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS.
• Able and willing to float to MedSurg as needed.
• Prior travel experience is required.

Additional Notes

• Candidates should be prepared for floating to all departments but only perform tasks they are competent in.
• Weekend shifts are required.
