Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Travel Assignment

Location: Warwick, Rhode Island
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Setting: Acute Rehabilitation Facility (20 beds)
Start Date: July 13, 2026
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift (8-hour shifts), every 4th weekend required
Hours per Week: 32 hours


Job Description

  • Position is a contractor replacement in an acute rehab setting.
  • May be required to float to medical-surgical or acute care units.
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system currently Cerner, transitioning to Epic on October 4th.
  • Dress code: light gray scrubs.
  • Parking available on campus, free of charge.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in Rhode Island
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Physical Therapy Assistant experience within the last year

  • Facility has 20 beds.
  • Position involves working in an acute rehab environment with possible float duties.
  • Schedule includes every 4th weekend coverage.
