Required Qualifications

  • Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Kansas
  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (6 months of experience)
  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • COTA Certification
  • Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting

Preferred Experience

  • Trauma experience
  • Comprehensive stroke experience

Work Setting

  • Acute care hospital occupational therapy unit
  • General acute care DME
  • Typical daily caseload: 9–13 assigned patients per COTA

  • Provides occupational therapy treatments
  • Requires ability to work independently with little oversight
