RN - Cardiovascular Surgery

Overview

Location: Hudson, Florida
Employment type: Travel
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 36
Schedule: Variable call schedule; every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
CVOR (5 years of experience)
CVOR experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Main OR experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience scrubbing as a nurse
Meditech experience

Unit Details

12-suite OR with 2 CVORs
Day shift staffing includes 4 RNs and 4 CSTs
Night shift is on call
Patient ratio is 1:1

Common Procedures

CABG
Valve replacement
Thoracic and vascular cases

Flexible
Team-oriented

Additional Notes

Parking is available anywhere except ER parking
RN scrub color is navy blue
