Lab Tech Travel Position - Texas, Longview

  • No call
  • No floating
  • No block scheduling
  • No 48-hour shifts

Job Description

• Perform laboratory testing in one or more clinical laboratory divisions to obtain data for diagnosis and treatment of disease.
• Responsible for efficient planning, directing, and accurate provision of all laboratory testing for inpatients and outpatients.
• Practice according to laboratory policies, procedures, regulatory standards, recognized testing techniques, and administrative policies.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, judgment, and leadership in laboratory technology.
• Use of EMR system: Medhost.
• Scrubs of any color allowed.

Required Qualifications

• Medical Lab Technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Medical Lab Technician experience within the last year.
• Associate’s degree in laboratory science or equivalent education and training.

Additional Notes

• Travelers must include requested information such as return-to-office (RTO) and start date with every submission.
