Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse with Medical Surgical specialty focusing on Orthopedics. The position involves working in a medical surgical unit with an 18-bed capacity, serving patients of all ages. The role requires experience caring for orthopedic patients and includes float responsibilities to Rehab and ICU units.

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend / as needed
• Call Requirements: As needed
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Medhost Clinician Experience
• Dress Code: Scrubs (any color); casual wear not allowed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• Minimum 3 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience caring for orthopedic patients
• Orthopedics experience
• Float experience in Rehab
• Float experience in ICU

• Ability to float to Rehab and ICU units

Additional Information

• Orientation occurs biweekly on Mondays
• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the assignment location to qualify as travel staff
