Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
- Weekend Hours: Saturday rotation every 6 weeks
- Call Requirements: At least 40 hours per 6 weeks
- Number of Openings: 1
- Unit Beds: 31 OR beds
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- EMR System: Cerner
- Equipment: Mako Robot, DaVinci SP & XI Robots, O-Arm, Rosa Robot
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of operating room experience (higher requirement confirmed)
- Prior Travel Experience: Required
- Certifications: BLS, NIH, Kentucky RN License
- Float Requirements: Must stay with the OR unit
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of OR experience
- Strong skills in managing high acuity surgical patients
Patient Population
- Neuro (spine/cranial, navigation)
- Orthopedics (including robotics/arthroscopic)
- Thoracic and vascular (complex cases)
- Transplant patients
- ENT/Radical neck procedures (complex)
