Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location: Bridgeport, Connecticut
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Specialty
- Interventional Radiology Lab with Neuroendovascular focus
Required Experience
- Interventional Radiology (IR) and Neuro Endovascular experience required
- Neuro IR experience strongly preferred
- At least 1 year of Neuro experience preferred (use 1 year as required years of experience)
Certifications Required
- CT Radiographer license
- ARRT certification
- RT(R)
- BLS (AHA)
Work Details
- Department: IR and Neuroendovascular
- Unit Size: 3 procedural rooms
- Patient-to-tech ratio: 1:1 per procedure
- Cases per day: 10-20
- Shift: Four 10-hour shifts (4x10s)
- On-call: Rotating evening, weekend, and holiday coverage; on-call hours start at 5:30 PM on weekdays
