Travel assignment

Contract Length

13 weeks

Schedule

40 hours per week
Variable 4x10 shifts
Start times: 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, or 9:00 AM
Holiday rotation

On-Call

One night per week for 4 weeks out of every 6-week schedule
Every 5th weekend
30-minute response time
Call shift starts at 11:00 AM
May be placed on call during low census
Call-back minimum: 2 hours

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS
PALS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Experience Preferences

Epic experience preferred
If no Epic experience, previous electronic charting experience is required

Unit Details

PACU with 14 bays
Typical patient ratio: 1:2
About 35 patients per day
Cases include general, spine, neuro, GI, ENT, cardiac, PV, and orthopedic
Also stabilizes ICU patients before transfer

Additional Notes

Scrubs may be any color
Flu and COVID vaccine declination requires masking at all times during flu season
