Clinical Lab Technologist

Location

Rochester, Minnesota

Assignment Length

52 weeks

Schedule

Evening shift, Wednesday through Sunday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
Training period: 4–6 weeks, with times that may vary
May require off-shifts, holiday, on-call, and weekend work

Required Qualifications

Medical Technologist experience within the last year
Medical Technologist (1 year of experience)
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a biological science

Job Responsibilities

Perform analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids to support diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment
Support laboratory operations to maintain and optimize testing capabilities
Operate and maintain instruments
Evaluate tests for accuracy
Assist with interpreting results
Assist with specimen collection
Use multiple computer systems to retrieve information and report results

Preferred Experience

Experience operating and troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation and assay systems
