Job Opportunity: Clinical Lab Technologist (Travel)
Location: Rochester, Minnesota
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Job Summary
- Perform analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids to assist healthcare providers in diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, troubleshoot assays, evaluate test accuracy, and assist with interpreting results.
- Support operational activities to optimize testing capabilities.
- Work with multiple computer systems to retrieve information and report results.
- May work with minimal supervision and assist with specimen collection.
- Strict adherence to safety protocols when handling infectious specimens, chemicals, and other hazards.
Contract Length
- Approximately 7 weeks (52 days rounded to nearest week).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a biological science.
- Ability to produce accurate results under time constraints in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with others.
- Flexibility to accommodate scheduling adjustments including off-shifts, holidays, on-call, and weekend work.
