Job Description

• Perform thorough, systematic, and accurate patient assessments across all age groups (Pediatric to Geriatric).
• Deliver competent clinical nursing care supporting patient care delivery and teamwork.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of nursing processes, patient progress, and education.
• Demonstrate professional responsibility and knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Promote patient and family-centered care with professionalism and confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
• Follow National Patient Safety Goals, including Universal Protocol and patient identification.
• Use safe transfer techniques and proper body mechanics.
• Provide care tailored to surgical patients, including understanding procedures, anesthesia types, and patient education.
• Take responsibility for prioritizing and directing patient care based on patient needs and condition changes.
• Conduct pre-operative and postoperative assessments and education, including evaluating Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders.

Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse in Medical/Surgical Nursing
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty
• Licenses/Certifications:

  • RN License (Required)
  • BLS Certification (Required)

Contract Length

• 52 weeks (1 year)
