Job Opportunity: Technologist (Mobile X-Ray/EKG)

Location: San Jose, California
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations.
• Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
• Obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-ray images as ordered by physicians.
• Perform EKGs as needed and transmit results to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
• Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
• Maintain communication with dispatch, management, peers, supervisory staff, and clients professionally.
• Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment.

Physical Demands

• Ability to push/pull equipment weighing 50–100 lbs multiple times daily (16 to 24 times).
• Use of vehicle ramps and pulleys may reduce physical strain.

Requirements

• ARRT Certification (Required)
• California State Radiologic Technologist License (Required)
• Valid Driver’s License (Required)
• Limited licenses are NOT accepted

• Required Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum standard for ARRT certified technologists.
