Job Description

• Position: Diagnostic X-Ray Technologist
• Work Schedule: 8-hour rotating shifts, schedule released monthly
• On-call Requirement: Must be able to take 3-5 call shifts per month, including holiday shifts
• Facility Type: Trauma Level 1 facility
• Start Date: As soon as possible

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current X-Ray experience in a Trauma Level 1 facility (must be documented in work history)
• Active California Radiologic Technologist License (Rad Tech License/CA Fluoro)
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Active ARRT (R) certification
• Must provide a supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment
• Must submit license verification and all certifications current at time of submission
• Must include permanent address and return-to-office (RTO) information in submission
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred but not required

Additional Information

• The position is within a medical imaging department staffed by board-certified radiologists and certified technologists across multiple modalities
• Equipment includes Siemens and Shimadzu imaging systems
• The role involves working in a high-acuity trauma environment with a busy emergency department
• Candidates local to within 30 miles of the facility are accepted

Summary

This is a temporary 13-week contract for an experienced X-Ray Technologist with trauma facility experience. The role requires flexibility for rotating shifts and on-call duties, including holidays. Candidates must hold all required licenses and certifications and provide recent supervisory references. Prior travel experience is a plus.
