- 22-bed med surg unit
- Patient types include general med surg, renal, transplant, and urology
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5-6
- Scrubs: Navy Blue
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Med Surg experience
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- One completed travel assignment
- Experience with Epic
- Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
- Driver's License
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Proficient Transplant care experience
- Renal PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- Urology experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Past or current Level I trauma experience
- Professional reference/reference check from within 24 months of today’s date
Scheduling and Assignment Details
- Must be able to work Thanksgiving
- Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed
- Traveler will be required to float across all campuses: Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran, and Iowa Methodist
- NBO: 16 hrs
