Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - Travel/Contract

Location: Auburn, New York
Shift: Day (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) unit
Requires minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
Must have a valid New York RN license in hand prior to starting
Return to Office (RTO) required before submission; late submissions will not be approved
Local candidates accepted with adjusted pay (not detailed here)
Compliance documentation due by Tuesday noon prior to start date

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Experience in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) nursing
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Nurses are responsible for independently measuring telemetry strips and accurately interpreting cardiac rhythms for all telemetry patients under their care, as the facility does not employ telemetry technicians
If the initial telemetry assessment is not passed, remediation and retesting will occur during the first week of the contract
