ICU Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position

Location: Longview, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Specialty: ICU / Medical-Surgical patient flow
Patient Ratios: Up to 1:5 at highest acuity
Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Weekend Scheduling: Every other weekend (EOW)
Facility Type: Long-term acute care hospital (LTACH)
Care Level: ICU and Intermediate Care (IMC)

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association

Additional Information

Orientation safety manual acknowledgement and facility-specific access forms required
Seasonal flu vaccination or declination may be requested
Performance evaluations required if previously employed over 1 year with the agency
