• 4x10-hour shifts between 6 AM - 7 PM
• Weekends as needed
• No call required

• Must be available to stay until last patient is cared for

Unit Information

• Invasive Cardiology unit with:

  • 4 dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs
  • 3 dedicated Electrophysiology labs
  • 2 shared cath/EP labs
  • 33 prep/recovery bays
• Procedures include complex coronary procedures, VAD/ECMO, structural heart procedures (TAVR, left atrial appendage occlusion, PFO/ASD closure, mitral valve clipping), complex atrial and ventricular ablations, pacemaker/ICD implant & explant, cardioversion, pulmonary artery pressure sensor implantation, peripheral intervention, and pulmonary embolectomy.
• May care for COVID patients.
• Tobacco and fragrance free facility.

Certifications Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• EPIC experience required

Time Off / Return to Office

• Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days

Background and Compliance Requirements

• 7-year criminal background check within 30 days of start, updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
• HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
• Pennsylvania FBI fingerprinting required within 1 year of start; can start with results pending but must be finalized within 45 days
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse Search required within 5 years; can start with results pending but must be finalized within 45 days
• Pennsylvania State Police PATCH search required within 1 year; must be finalized prior to start (cannot start with results pending)
• Education verification of highest level required
• Drug testing: Negative 9-panel within 1 year (for agency only)
• 2 professional references within 3 years required
• Most recent resume/application required
• Skills checklist required annually
• Performance evaluations completed onsite during assignment

Health Requirements

• Physical exam within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years
• Negative QGold or TSpot TB test within 90 days (PPD not accepted)
• Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Vaccines (2 doses) or positive titer required; 2 boosters required if titers negative or equivocal
• Hepatitis B: Positive titer or full vaccine series (3 doses) plus declination form if applicable
• Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer required; 2 boosters required if titers negative or equivocal
• Seasonal flu vaccine required during flu season; declinations not accepted (medical/religious exemptions accepted with documentation)
• COVID-19 vaccine or medical/religious exemption or declination accepted
• Respiratory safety clearance required within 1 year and renewed annually

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• Floating and weekend shifts may be required as needed.
