Registered Nurse (Inpatient Rehab) - Travel/Contract Position
Location: Marion, Indiana
Shift: Day shift, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Start Date: January 19, 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of Registered Nurse experience
- Prior travel experience required (indicated by "previous travel")
Licensure
- Active Indiana or Compact RN License required
Job Details
- Work primarily in Inpatient Rehab unit
- May float to other inpatient units
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only, Instructor, Provider, or RQI acceptable (required for all RNs)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only, Instructor, Provider, or RQI acceptable (required for Critical Care, ER, Telemetry, Respiratory, and float positions; preferred for others)
Health and Compliance Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask (respirator) test within 3 months of start and annually (specific mask types accepted)
- Tdap vaccine within the past 10 years or declination
- Negative TB test (2-step PPD, Qgold, or Tspot) within 3 months of start or clear chest X-ray if past positive
- Immunity or vaccination documentation for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B (titer or declination; vaccination alone not accepted)
- Drug screening (5 panel or more) within 30 days of start
- Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (Oct-April), with religious/medical exemptions accepted
Background and Documentation
- Criminal background check within 30 days of start (7-year search including SSN trace, counties, national criminal, and sex offender registries)
- Annual EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Facility-specific annual mandatory training and competencies
- Skills checklist required annually
- Two professional references within 3 years of start
Additional Notes
- Candidates must review and comply with facility dress code
- IT access form required for all candidates
This position is ideal for experienced RNs with prior travel assignments who are licensed in Indiana or hold a Compact License and are comfortable working in inpatient rehab settings with potential float assignments.
