Job Opportunity: LVN / LPN - Travel/Contract

Location: Playa Vista, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Schedule

• Rotating schedule with every other weekend and some holidays
• Monday-Friday: 11:30 AM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday-Sunday: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Required Qualifications

• California LVN License
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• Flu vaccination (no exemptions or declinations accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Room
• Phlebotomy and IV certification
• Experience with CS Link/Epic electronic health record systems

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room

Job Duties

• Perform and record quality control testing on designated equipment
• Schedule nurse visits for phlebotomy, testing, or other procedures
• Administer immunizations, injections, or oral medications
• Draw and prepare lab work or specimens for pick up
• Handle clinic care telephone interactions with provider input
• Cover Medical Assistant duties during absences, illnesses, and breaks

Additional Information

• Position is for outpatient LVN role
• First-time travelers accepted
• Weekend and holiday work required
• No on-call duties
• Floating within scope of practice to meet facility needs is expected
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-minute commute
• Pending licenses are not accepted
• No return-to-office requests allowed in the first 2 weeks of assignment

Certifications & Compliance Requirements

• Current CA LVN license verification required
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Background check including 7-year criminal history and education verification
• Drug screening panel required (excluding Marijuana/THC)
• Fit mask test within 12 months (N95 or equivalent respirators)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
• Flu vaccination required for the 2025-26 season (no declinations accepted)
• Professional references: 2 required, including 1 supervisory reference

Health & Safety

• Must comply with all facility health requirements including immunizations and screenings
• Strict flu vaccination policy with limited exemption process
• Fit testing for approved respirators required annually
