Hospice Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Everett, Washington
Shift: Late Shift, Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week (8 hours per day)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

• Provide hospice care primarily for geriatric patients at end of life.
• Average patient load: 5-7 patients per day (to be confirmed during interview).
• On-call responsibilities required (details to be discussed during interview).
• Must be flexible with travel territory up to a 60-mile radius from the office/hub.
• Timely documentation and communication are essential.
• Dress code: Scrubs of any color; jeans are not allowed.
• Use of iPad provided; cell phone use is not permitted during work.
• Mileage reimbursement provided at IRS standard rate.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington.
• Minimum 1 year of hospice nursing experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) electronic medical records system.

Additional Information

• Weekly productivity points (30 points) are required.
• Locals are accepted and paid at travel rates.
• Background checks and compliance documents must be maintained and updated annually.
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgment and acceptable use policy must be completed prior to start.

This position is ideal for experienced hospice RNs comfortable with travel assignments, flexible territory, and working late shifts in a homecare hospice setting.
