Job Summary
Seeking a Radiation Therapist with experience in Radiology/Cardiology specialties. The position requires working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No weekends, call, or holiday shifts required.
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiation Therapy.
- True Beams experience required.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system required.
- Ability to care for COVID-19 patients.
- Tobacco and fragrance-free facility environment.
Education & Certifications
- Associate’s Degree from an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology Program.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
License Requirements
- Valid Radiation Therapist license as per state regulations.
Schedule & Work Conditions
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
- No weekends, call, or holiday shifts.
- Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed.
- Floating is not required.

Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Radiation Therapist license in Pennsylvania
- Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
Background & Compliance
- 7-year criminal background check required within 30 days of start; updated annually.
- Pennsylvania State Police PATCH search required within 1 year of start.
- FBI fingerprinting required within 1 year of start; results must be on file within 45 days of assignment start.
- Child Abuse History Clearance required within 5 years of start; results must be on file within 45 days.
- Employment application and recent resume required.
- Two professional references within 3 years required.
- Performance evaluations will be completed onsite during assignment.
- Skills checklist required annually.
Health & Immunization
- Physical exam required within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT.
- Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 90 days of start; PPD not accepted.
- Required vaccinations or positive titers for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (positive titer or full vaccine series)
- Varicella
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or valid medical/religious exemption required during flu season.
- COVID-19 vaccine or valid exemption/declination accepted.
- Drug testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen required within 1 year (specific to agency).
Competency & Training
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable.
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required.
- Acknowledgement of pass/fail testing required.
- Facility-specific orientation and learning modules must be completed.
Documentation
- Clear, passport-style photo required for badge.
- Various facility-specific agreements and attestations must be reviewed and signed.
- State and facility-specific documents must be uploaded and maintained as per compliance guidelines.
Notes
- Candidates will be clinically screened and interviewed prior to final selection.
- The facility is tobacco and fragrance-free; candidates should be aware.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.

Cons
Sometimes the schedule can be confusing with rotating shifts and call schedules that don’t align well with your scheduled shifts. But again if there is a major concern they’ll try and work with you on it!
