Job Details
- Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
- Shift: 3 shifts of 12 hours (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
- Call Requirement: None
- Float Requirement: None
- Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend and holidays
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- At least one completed travel assignment as a Respiratory Therapist
Orientation & Systems
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Unit Systems: Omnicell, Meditech Expanse
- Scrubs: Any color
Compliance & Background Requirements
- 7-year criminal background check (including all aliases)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start
- Education verification or official transcript
- Massachusetts Statewide iCORI clearance within 30 days of start
- Primary source verification of state license
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask test within 1 year (acceptable masks: 1870+, 1860, 1860S)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray and TB questionnaire as applicable
- Immunizations or positive titers for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (series or positive titer)
- Varicella
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination during flu season
- COVID-19 booster documentation or signed declination
Additional Notes
- Candidates must complete various facility-specific documents and agreements prior to start
- Photo for badge required (passport-style, light background)
- Candidates must upload required compliance documents and complete a TB survey in the facility’s compliance system prior to start
This position is ideal for experienced Respiratory Therapists with prior travel contract experience who hold or are eligible for a Massachusetts state license and meet the outlined certification and health requirements.
