Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Columbia, South Carolina
• 13-week contract
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend
• Accepts first-time travelers
• Locals accepted within radius rule
• Pending license not accepted

Unit

• ACE Unit (Acute Care for the Elderly)
• 26 beds
• Telemetry-capable care for hospitalized patients aged 65 and older
• Ratio: 1:5

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• IV insertion skills
• Blood product administration
• Experience with PICC lines
• Central line management
• Peripheral line management
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Remote telemetry monitoring
• Heparin protocols
• Experience with Epic

Floating

• May float to other units or campuses as needed
• Floating is limited to areas where staff are qualified and have documented competencies

Additional Notes

• RTO, block, and special scheduling requests must be included with submission and are subject to facility approval at booking
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
