Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday
- One full weekend every 4 weeks
- No call and no holidays
- ASAP start requested
- Adult and geriatric case management with a ratio of 1:25–30
Required Qualifications
- Valid Florida RN license
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Two years of recent acute care hospital case management experience within the last year
- Acute care setting experience
- Discharge planning experience
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NIHSS certification
- Trauma experience
- Experience with Allscripts
- Experience with Epic
- Successful completion of Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks, abuse registry review, and screening for disqualifying offenses
- Government-issued photo ID
- E-Verify documentation
- Education verification or, if unverifiable, official transcripts or diploma
- Physical exam signed by DO, MD, NP, APRN, or PA
- Annual fit test
- Negative TB screening via QuantiFERON lab within 6 months of start, or chest X-ray if there is a past positive TB result
- Immunity or documentation for measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, and seasonal flu
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
- Two professional references
- Annual skills checklist
Preferred Experience
- Level 1 Trauma experience
Role Responsibilities
- Complete initial assessment and revisit patients at least every third day
Work Environment
- Microsoft Office Suite, CarePort, AllScripts, PowerChart, and Epic proficiency required
