Overview

Travel/Contract role in Lansing, Michigan
Start date: ASAP
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
36 hours per week
On call: No
Weekends: 3 weekends (Fri-Sun) per 4-week schedule
Floating: Peds possible
Locals accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
TNCC
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

ENPC
Unit accepts 1st time travelers
Continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration experience
Triage experience

Level 1 Trauma Center
Stroke Center
Heart Center
Pediatric Emergency Department
High patient ratios: 1:5–6, potentially up to 8 depending on volume and holidays

Additional Notes

RTO must be submitted at time of submittal; no additional RTO will be approved later
No RTO allowed: 10/31 and 12/18–12/28
Modules are not billable; plan for 5 hours
