Role

Travel/Contract RN position for Med/Surg Tele/IMC in the Float Pool.

Location

Hagerstown, Maryland

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12 hours, 18:30–7:00

Assignment Details

• Float scope: from MS units to IMC units
• Must be comfortable with 1:4–1:6 ratios
• Recent Med/Surg Tele experience in a hospital setting is required
• 2+ years of Tele experience required
• 2+ years prior experience on an IMC unit in a hospital setting required
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Local candidates are not accepted
• EPIC experience is required
• Flu shot required
• 2-step PPD required
• Could care for patients with acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and trauma patients

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Intermediate Care (2 years of experience)
• Intermediate Care experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or United States Department of Defense
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or United States Department of Defense
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Telemetry experience
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications
