Graduation from an accredited formal diagnostic medical sonography program or equivalent completion evidenced by ARDMS certification
ARDMS-American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer upon hire
Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider upon hire
Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
2 years of Ultrasound Technologist experience
Must possess 2 of the following: AB-Abdomen certification, BR-Breast certification, FE-Fetal Echocardiography certification, OB/GYN-Obstetrics & Gynecology, PS-Pediatric Sonography, RVT-Registered Vascular Technician
Experience with Epic

Intermediate knowledge of diagnostic sonography principles, procedures, views, and equipment, including some experience responding to traumas and various hospital emergencies
Proficient in performing sonographic examinations with a solid understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems such as Radiology (RIS), laboratory (LIS), electronic health records (EHR), EPIC, and PACS
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritize assignments, manage time, resolve standard problems, and maintain patient privacy

May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department
