Job Overview

Assignment Details
- Contract length: 26 weeks
- Hours per week: 48
- First-time travelers: Accepted
- Weekend/holiday expectation: Every other weekend and holidays as needed
- Floating: Required to postpartum and antepartum, with possible float to sister facilities that provide Mother/Baby care
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Labor and Delivery (3 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Post Partum experience
- Antepartum experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
Preferred Qualifications
- AWHONN Advanced
- AWHONN Intermediate
Clinical Environment
- High-risk, high-volume labor and delivery unit
- Uses EPIC
- Electronic fetal monitoring is part of the role
- Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines
- Unit includes 4 ORs
- Average daily census: 15
- Approximate deliveries per month: 500–600
- Beds/rooms: 31
