Job Overview

- Shift: Day shift, 12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Connecticut
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (3 years of experience)
- PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Trauma experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification
Work Setting / Environment
- Pediatric intensive care unit
- Telemetry monitoring on the unit and remote monitoring
- Epic charting system
- Pyxis medication system

- NG tube insertion and management
- Isolation precautions

- Central line blood draw and central/implanted line care
