Job Overview

- Schedule notes: Blocked weekends Friday, Saturday, Sunday; every third weekend required

- Patient population: Adults to geriatrics
Role Summary
Provides post-operative care for vascular, kidney, and liver transplant patients. Responsibilities include hemodynamic and neurovascular assessments, monitoring surgical sites, evaluating graft function, tracking labs, urine output, fluids, and electrolytes, and administering pain control, immunosuppressants, anticoagulation, and IV therapies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Intermediate Care (2 years of experience)
- Intermediate Care experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Transplant experience
