PCU/Stepdown RN

Role Overview

• Travel/Contract Registered Nurse position in Spokane, Washington.
• Based in a Short Term Acute Care facility with a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
• Unit ratios are 1:4-5.
• Shift is Night (3x12 Hours), 19:00-7:00.
• 36 hours per week.
• 13-week contract.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience).
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year.
• Cardiac drip experience with ability to titrate and manage.
• Every other weekend required.
• 48 hours approved.
• BLS.
• ACLS.
• PALS.
• NURSYS verification required for all RNs.
• Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting.
• Employment application must include at least the last 5 years of employment.
• Skills checklist required for the applicable unit.
• Background check, education verification, state-specific Washington search, and other standard pre-start compliance items required by the source.

Schedule / Staffing Notes

• Candidates may choose one holiday: Thanksgiving or Christmas, but not both.
• No on-call required.
• Block schedules are not required.
• Travelers may float to Tele or MS floors if overstaffed.
