RN Medical/Surgical/Telemetry

Location

West Burlington, Iowa

Schedule

Nights: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Estimated 36-hour workweek, with possible overtime
13-week contract

Setting

Medical-surgical and telemetry unit
May care for geriatric, adult, medical/surgical, and telemetry patients

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS
NIHSS
Driver's License
Experience with Epic

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care using the nursing process
Coordinate care with other health team members
Interact effectively with patients and support persons while maintaining professional nursing standards

Additional Work Expectations

May float to another campus at times
May occasionally be placed on call during low census
If called in, must be able to arrive on-site within one hour
