Job Description

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Care for patient populations including Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, and Telemetry.
• Positions available on Medical Surgical Unit and Telemetry Unit.
• Must self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance; a basic dysrhythmia test will be administered during the first week and must be passed to work on the telemetry/med-surg unit.
• ACLS certification required.
• Estimated work week: 36 hours with possible overtime.

• Health Statement from physician within last 12 months.
• Drug Screen (10 panel, within 30 days of start).
• Background Check including SS Trace, County searches, Nationwide, Sex Offender (within 30 days of start).
• Adult and Child Abuse clearance (state requirement).
• Education Verification (third-party verification required).
• EPLS/GSA/SAM HHS/OIG checks (within 30 days of start).
• References: 2 professional references required, including 1 supervisor reference.
• Resume/Profile submission required.
• I-9 Attestation (completed on agency letterhead).
• Skills Checklist (completed within 12 months).
• OSHA Questionnaire (candidate completes).
• Contract Employee Data Sheet.
• Name Change Documents (optional).
