Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist - NICU

Location: Hollywood, Florida
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Minimum 2-3 years of current experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with independent bedside management of ventilated patients in a NICU setting.
• Must be familiar with the Servo U ventilator, including its functions and modes used in NICU.
• Knowledge of Drager, Bunnell Jet Vent, Sensormedic 3100A oscillator, and Nitric Oxide is a plus.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Respiratory Therapist with NICU experience (minimum 2 years), including experience within the last year
• At least 2 years of current experience functioning independently at bedside managing ventilated NICU patients
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP certification
• Demonstrated experience managing ventilated patients in a NICU setting
• General Respiratory Therapist experience
