Job Opportunity: Med/Surg RN PRN Days

Location: Kansas City, Kansas
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Job Description

Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical units
PRN (as needed) position

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas
Med Surg experience of at least 1 year, with experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
NIHSS certification
Completion of Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam
Completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam
Completion of Prime Skills Checklist
Completion of Prime Specialty Exam
Completion of Prime Color-blind test
DCI/BVP
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Information

Primary source verification of professional license and certifications will be conducted within 30 days of start and updated upon expiration
Some states/facilities have specific requirements regarding background checks and declinations for vaccines
Color-blind test must be completed annually
Badge photo may be requested for onboarding but is optional
Name verification affidavit required if there are discrepancies between credentials
